THE DRAFT: A Lesson in Conformity

Greece is one of the very few states that require all males to enlist in the army for a minimum of 12 months.
During these months each male is assigned a random occupation in a random military base. Even though they are given the option to choose where to enlist, it is highly unlikable to end up in the place they have chosen.

From one day to the other you find yourself in a group of individuals, wearing the same clothes, eating on the same table, sleeping in the same dorm, seeing the same place, day after day after day.

This is my documentation of my own enlistment in Greek army.
